By using the heritage-itineraries.com website or the Heritage Itineraries app, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
A digital map of historic sites and heritage tourism journeys in Hanoi: site information, photos, documents, audio guides, directions, a Heritage passport and community content. It is free and non-profit, provided by the FEF-R project “Heritage Tourism Itineraries in the City of Hanoi”.
2. Accounts
- You provide accurate information, keep your password secret and are responsible for activity on your account.
- The editors may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
3. Content you submit
- You only submit photos, stories and feedback you have the right to share, and you allow the Project to store, display (with the credit name you choose) and reformat them on the website, the app and the Project’s non-profit materials. You keep your copyright.
- Content is reviewed before publication and may be declined or removed. You can ask us to remove your content at any time.
4. Not allowed
- Posting unlawful, abusive or deliberately false content, or content that infringes others’ privacy or copyright.
- Attacking, scanning, bulk scraping or interfering with the service.
- Faking your location to collect Heritage passport stamps.
5. Ownership
The journeys presented and all content (articles, audio guides, photos, documents) belong to the Project and to the credited authors and owners. The use, adaptation or reproduction of this heritage tourism model is permitted and free of charge, provided that prior written authorization is obtained from Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hiệp.
6. Safety while visiting
- Directions and estimated times are for reference only. Follow traffic laws, signs and each site’s rules; do not use the app while driving or riding.
- Opening hours, fees and festival dates may change; please check on site.
- Dress and behave respectfully at places of worship.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We strive for accurate information but do not guarantee the service will be complete, uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the Project is not liable for damages arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date is shown at the top. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. The app downloaded from the App Store is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
